Private Parties
In 2005, Jane’s expanded adding a beautiful party room, painted shades of cream and espresso, with a beautiful marble bar, chandeliers, and private bathrooms. View the space at www.janesrestaurant.com. Our food is made restaurant style by the plate and comes out fresh and hot from the kitchen. We rent out the room privately for parties of 25 or more (smaller parties can secure reservations at 773-862-5263). We seat 55 guests comfortably for a seated meal, and up to 65 for a standing cocktail party. Parties have a 4 hour maximum, with a ½ hour prior to the start for set-up. Our rental fee is negotiable on weeknights, $500 on weekend days, and $1000 on Friday and Saturday nights (Fri and Sat nights, there’s a $2000 minimum in food and beverage). The rental fee includes front and back of the house staff, party planning, chef preparation, music of your choice, votive candle treatments (evening parties), and your own beautiful private dining room. We require the room rental to hold the date. We have a thirty day refund policy.
Brunch
We offer private rentals at 1p.m. and after on Saturdays, and 2p.m. and after on Sundays. There is a 25 person minimum to rent out the space. Brunch parties that are plated include choice of 5 entrees, coffee, tea, and sodas for $25 per person. We can provide a buffet style meal if requested, the price is the same. Our brunch bar package is $25 per person, and includes, 4 house wines (2 reds and 2 whites), mimosas, bloody marys, and 2 beer selections. We also offer host/per consumption bar tabs for juices and alcohol. You are welcome to come in a half hour before the party time to set up any favors, or decoration (please no confetti). There is ample room for presents. We charge a $2 plating fee for any cakes and desserts brought in. Tax (9.75%), and gratuity (20%) are additional.

Food
Sit down dinner includes choice of salad, your choice of four entrees, and choice of dessert for $ 50 per person.
Buffet dinner includes choice of salad, 2 entrée options, and 2 sides, for $45 per person.
Cocktail parties includes your choice of 5 passed appetizers for $40 per person. Additional appetizers can be added, prices vary.
(Appetizers and soup can also be added to any party, price varies)
Beverage
House package includes house beer and wine, and all non-alcoholic drinks for $40 per person.
Full bar includes all cocktails, house beer and wine and all non-alcoholic drinks for $60 per person.
(We can do champagne/cava toasts if requested prior to the party, price varies. We do not offer BYOB for parties. We do offer host bar tabs for smaller groups. We can run a cash bar/individual bar tabs, if requested in advance)
Parking
Valet parking for private parties upon request-price varies.
About Jane’s
Situated near the city of Chicago’s original northern-most boundary, the Bucktown block which Jane’s calls home maintains the quaint, “main street” appeal that was reintroduced in 1891, as the area was revitalized, following the Great Chicago Fire.
Menu
Jane’s goes to great measures to ensure that its food tastes “homemade,” prepared healthy, fresh and clean, with many vegetarian-friendly options, and no deep-fryer in sight. The additions to space and menu make an already great restaurant that much better. As Greenwalt says, “We want people to feel like they’re at home.” Jane’s certainly makes it easy.
