Ordering Guide & Tips
Every signature lobster roll at Cousins Maine Lobster costs $26 — the Maine, the Connecticut and the Garlic Butter. A cup of lobster bisque or New England clam chowder costs $8 and a bowl $12, any roll becomes a combo for $6–$8 more, and the rest of the truck menu runs from a $3 canned soda to the $24 Lobster Tail & Tots. Cousins is a franchise system of food trucks, brick-and-mortar restaurants and food hall locations, and the trucks run one core menu everywhere. The prices on this page are the chain’s own published truck menu prices, and the menu document itself carries the chain’s footer: prices are subject to change, and may vary based on event and location.

How Cousins Maine Lobster Works
Cousins Maine Lobster serves the same core menu from three kinds of locations: food trucks, which publish a weekly schedule of stops and events for each market; brick-and-mortar restaurants, which run the core menu plus an expanded restaurant menu; and food hall locations. There is one truck menu across the system — the full list with prices is in the menu on this page — and it is built around a single ingredient: Maine lobster, served in rolls, tacos, a quesadilla, a grilled cheese, bisque and over tots.
The menu has seven blocks. Rolls are the head of it: three signature builds at $26 each, plus the Lobster Roll Flight. Make It a Combo adds chips, tots or a whoopie pie and a drink to any roll for $6–$8. Bisque-Chowder covers the two soups by the cup, bowl or quart. Specialties holds the rest of the entrées — tacos, quesadilla, grilled cheese, loaded tots and the lobster tail. The Kids Meal block has two items, a grilled cheese and a cheese quesadilla, each $12 and served with tots. Extras runs from plain tots ($6) and Cape Cod Chips ($4) to an added lobster tail ($16). Take Home sells the raw material and the kits to go.
Ordering runs through the Cousins mobile app — order ahead, pick your truck or restaurant, pay in the app — or at the truck window and restaurant counter. The app is the only priced ordering channel the chain runs; the website itself publishes no ordering prices, which is why the Prices section below works the way it does.
The Lobster Rolls: Maine vs Connecticut
Two of the three signature rolls are the same lobster in the two classic New England builds, and the difference is temperature and dressing — nothing else.
The Maine Lobster Roll is Maine lobster served chilled, with a touch of mayo, on a New England style roll. The Connecticut Lobster Roll is Maine lobster served warm, with lemon butter, on the same New England style roll. Both cost $26. If you want the lobster itself to lead, order the Connecticut — butter and warmth put the meat forward. If you want the classic cold, lightly dressed sandwich, order the Maine.
The third build is the Garlic Butter Lobster Roll, also $26: Maine lobster served warm with butter, garlic, parmesan and herbs on a New England style roll. It is the richest of the three.
The Lobster Roll Flight puts all three — Maine, Connecticut and Garlic Butter — on new mini brioche rolls, and it is served at all Cousins trucks and restaurants while supplies last. Cousins publishes no price for the flight, so no figure is printed here: ask at the truck or check the app at your location.
One roll is restaurant-only: the Crab Roll, listed among the offerings of the chain’s restaurant locations, including Pier 41 in San Francisco. It is not on the truck menu, and Cousins publishes no price for it.
Lobster Bisque & New England Clam Chowder
Two soups, one price ladder. Lobster Bisque and New England Clam Chowder each cost $8 for a cup and $12 for a bowl, and a cup of either can be added to any entrée for $7. A full quart of either soup to take home costs $30, in the Take Home block below. Both soups are gluten-free — the chain states that outright, and it is one of only two dietary statements Cousins publishes (see Allergens).
Tots, Tacos & the Rest of the Menu
The Specialties block is where the lobster leaves the roll. Lobster Tacos ($23) are three tacos with Maine lobster, pico de gallo and cilantro lime sauce; Shrimp Tacos ($19) are the same build with shrimp. The Lobster Quesadilla ($23) carries Maine lobster with pico de gallo and cilantro lime sauce, and the Lobster Grilled Cheese ($23) puts Maine lobster with pepper jack and cheddar on Texas style toast. The Lobster Tail & Tots ($24) is a 4–5 oz Maine lobster tail served in the shell with drawn butter and a side of tots — the only whole-tail plate on the truck menu.
Tots come three ways: plain Tots ($6) in Extras; Smothered & Covered Tots ($10) with pico de gallo and cilantro lime sauce; and Lobster Tots ($23), topped with warmed lobster, cilantro lime sauce and pico de gallo. Beyond that, the Extras block is the finishing kit: Extra Meat ($8) adds lobster to anything, Add a Lobster Tail ($16) adds a tail to any entrée, and the drinks are Maine Root Soda ($5), Canned Soda ($3) and Bottled Water ($3). The dessert is Maine’s classic Whoopie Pie, $7.
Items Served Only at Restaurants
The brick-and-mortar restaurants run an expanded menu on top of the truck core. Cousins’ restaurant catalogs add a Shrimp Roll, a Lobster B.L.T., a Chicken Sandwich, a Maine Harvest Salad, Maine Fried Clams, Fish & Chips, fish tacos and Sea Fries, and San Francisco lists a New England Roll; the Crab Roll above belongs to this restaurant set as well. Cousins publishes no restaurant menu with prices on its website — those items are named here because they exist at the restaurants, and their prices are set and shown at the location and in the app, not published nationally.

Prices
Cousins Maine Lobster publishes its truck menu as an official price list, and the prices in the menu on this page are taken from that published document. The document’s own footer states the terms: prices are subject to change, and may vary based on event and location — a festival stop and a regular weekly stop do not have to charge identically, and these are the chain’s published figures, not a surveyed average.
The shape of the menu is simple. The three signature rolls are $26 each. Specialties run $10–$24, with most lobster entrées at $23. Soups are $8 a cup and $12 a bowl. Combos add $6–$8 to any roll. Extras run $3–$16, and the kids’ meals are $12. Two items carry no published price anywhere: the Lobster Roll Flight and the restaurant-only Crab Roll.
The website itself lists no prices — its Menu link leads to the online shop, not a priced menu — and the only priced ordering channel is the Cousins app, where the menu is shown per location after you pick a truck or restaurant. The published price list above is the governing source, and it is the one this page uses.
Take Home & the Online Shop
The truck menu’s Take Home block sells the components to go: the At-Home Lobster Roll Kit at $130 for the 1 lb kit and $245 for the 2 lb kit, fresh Maine Lobster Meat at $60 for a half pound and $110 for a pound, and a quart of bisque or chowder for $30. Those are truck prices and sit outside the $3–$26 served-menu range above.
The chain’s online shop ships the same idea nationwide: the At-Home Lobster Roll Kit from $155, 32 oz of Lobster Bisque or New England Clam Chowder at $35, and whoopie pies at $5 each or $20 for a 4-pack. Shop prices are the shipped channel’s prices, published on the shop itself.
Nutrition & Calories
Cousins Maine Lobster does not publish calorie counts or nutrition information. There is no nutrition page, nutrition PDF or calorie chart on the chain’s website, none in its online shop, and none on its published menu document — which is why the menu on this page carries no calorie figures: the chain has not released any to print. Third-party sites and diet apps circulate estimates for the rolls and the bisque; none of them comes from Cousins, and none of them is used here. If a calorie count matters to your order, the chain itself is the only source that could supply one, and it has not published one.
Allergens & Dietary
Cousins publishes a short list of dietary statements, and this page prints exactly that list — no more.
- Both soups are gluten-free. The chain states it directly: the Lobster Bisque and the New England Clam Chowder are gluten-free, and both are marked gluten-free on the menu.
- The tacos go gluten-free on request. The Lobster Tacos and Shrimp Tacos are served on flour tortillas, and the menu marks the swap: ask for corn tortillas and the tacos are gluten-free.
- There is no allergen chart. Cousins publishes no allergen menu or chart and no shellfish cross-contact statement. Lobster, shrimp and crab are the core of this menu, and the chain offers no published guidance beyond the two gluten-free statements above — if you have a shellfish allergy, that absence is the fact to plan around.
Hours
There are no fixed Cousins hours to print, because the two halves of the chain keep time differently. The trucks run weekly event schedules — each market publishes its stops for the week, and a truck’s hours are the hours of the stop it is serving. The restaurants keep their own hours, set per location: from the chain’s own location listings, Asbury Park, NJ runs 11 AM–8 PM daily, Times Square, NY runs 11 AM–12 AM daily, and Pier 41 in San Francisco runs 11 AM–9 PM daily. The schedule for a truck and the hours for a restaurant both live with the location, not on a national timetable.
Gift Cards — Read This Before You Buy
The only gift card Cousins Maine Lobster sells does not work at the trucks or the restaurants. The chain’s E-Gift Card is sold only in its online shop, in $50, $100, $150, $200, $250 and $500, delivered by email. Its product page states the restriction plainly: gift cards are redeemable only on the eCommerce store — they are not redeemable at any physical location, trucks or restaurants included. Coupon codes do not apply to gift-card purchases, and the chain states no expiry or fee terms for the card.
There is no nationally sold Cousins gift card for the trucks or restaurants, and no published balance-check page or phone route for one. If a card is meant for a meal at a truck, the online-shop card is the wrong product — it buys shipped lobster from the shop, nothing at the window.
Deals, Coupons & Rewards
Cousins runs its loyalty through the app: points are earned on app orders and by scanning a loyalty card at the truck window, and points are redeemed for free food. The chain publishes no earn rate, no tier structure and no points value, so no points math is printed here — the balance and the rewards on offer live in the app. The same applies to discounts: Cousins publishes no standing coupon or promo-code list, and this page prints no codes. Current offers, when a market runs them, appear in the app and on the chain’s own channels for that market.
Quick Answers
Looking for a truck? Where a Cousins truck is stopping this week — and each restaurant’s address and hours — lives in the location listings, not on this menu page. Booking a truck for a private event is the chain’s catering channel, and ordering ahead runs through the Cousins app.
Need this menu on paper? The chain’s own menu is a published PDF document, and this page prints cleanly from your browser as the same menu with prices.
