Freddy’s Original Double — the steakburger the chain is built on — costs $7.49–$9.49 on its own and $10.79–$12.99 as a combo with a side and a drink, with 670 calories. Freddy’s sets no single national price, so every price on this page is the verified range from Freddy’s own online ordering system, checked at restaurants in Wichita, Kansas, San Antonio, Texas and Orlando, Florida — Orlando runs about $2 above Wichita on sandwiches and combos. Below is the full Freddy’s menu: steakburgers, chicken, fries and fry sauce, and the frozen custard program — concretes, sundaes and shakes — with the calories Freddy’s publishes for every item.

How the Freddy’s Menu Is Organized

Freddy’s menu has two halves: the grill and the custard counter. The grill side is organized as Combo Meals — every main served with your choice of side and a drink — and Sandwiches & More, the same items sold on their own, plus a short Bowls list. The custard side is one Frozen Custard section: signature treats, dishes and cones, custard sandwiches, floats, shakes, and pints and quarts to take home. Around those sit Savory Sides, Beverages, Freddy’s Bevies (the chain’s soda, tea and lemonade blends), Kids Meals, Senior Meals, and the Sauces & Dressings list.

One piece of organization surprises first-time readers: there is no standalone Steakburgers category on Freddy’s own menu. The steakburgers live inside Sandwiches & More when sold on their own, and inside Combo Meals when sold with a side and a drink. This page follows Freddy’s own structure, and the menu above carries every item in the categories Freddy’s files it under.

Most restaurants have a drive-thru and a dining room, and the menu is the same at both. The full item list with prices and calories is in the structured menu on this page.

Does Freddy’s have a secret menu? No. Freddy’s publishes no secret menu. The customization the chain does offer is built into the menu itself: Create Your Own custard with your choice of custard and mix-ins, extra steakburger patties in the Single, Double and Triple builds, and the sauce list below, which is added at no charge in online ordering.

Steakburgers

A Freddy’s steakburger is a thin beef patty seared on the grill — the format the whole chain is named for — and the builds are counted by patty. The Freddy’s Original Double is the standard: two patties with cheese, mustard, onion and pickles on a toasted bun, $7.49–$9.49 on its own and the chain’s most-ordered burger. The same build is sold as a Single ($6.89–$8.89) and a Triple ($8.79–$10.79), and every build is also sold as a combo with a side and a drink.

The named builds on the current menu:

  • Freddy’s Original Bacon and Cheese Double — the Original Double plus bacon, $8.29–$10.29.
  • California Style Double — two patties with cheese, onion, Thousand Island, lettuce and tomato, $7.99–$9.99. The difference from the Original Double is the dressing and the produce: Thousand Island, lettuce and tomato instead of mustard, onion and pickles.
  • Freddy’s Original Patty Melt — two patties with Swiss cheese and grilled onions on toasted rye, $7.69–$9.69.
  • Jalapeño Pepper Jack Double — pepper jack, fire-roasted jalapeños and Freddy’s Spicy Jalapeño Fry Sauce, $7.89–$9.89.
  • Grilled Cheese Steakburger — two patties and two slices each of American and Swiss on Texas toast with bacon and a savory tomato spread, $9.09–$11.09.
  • Prime Rib Steakburger — thin-sliced prime rib stacked on two patties with Swiss, grilled onions, portobello mushrooms and garlic aioli, $10.19–$12.19; the most expensive sandwich on the menu, and $13.49–$15.69 as a combo.

Two taco-format builds sit in the same category: the Steakburger Taco — a steakburger patty with American cheese on a grilled tortilla with lettuce and jalapeño fry sauce, $3.49–$4.49 — and the seasonal Smoky Bacon Steakburger Taco in the Specials section below.

Chicken, Sandwiches & Hot Dogs

The non-burger mains are short and fixed. Chicken comes as the Spicy Chicken Sandwich (crispy chicken with crunchy pickles and Freddy’s Extra Spicy Jalapeño Fry Sauce, $7.19–$9.19), the Crispy Chicken Club and the Grilled Chicken Club (both with Swiss, bacon, lettuce, tomato and mayonnaise, $8.29–$10.29), and Chicken Tenders in 3-piece ($6.49–$8.49) and 5-piece ($7.99–$9.99) orders with BBQ, ranch or honey mustard. All three chicken sandwiches and the tenders are also sold as combos.

Hot dogs are all-beef: the All-Beef Hot Dog ($3.49–$7.49) and the Chili Cheese Dog ($4.99–$8.99). Those ranges are wide for a reason — at San Antonio both dogs sit on that restaurant’s Freddy’s Value menu at $3.49 and $4.99, while Orlando charges $7.49 and $8.99. The Veggie Burger — a black bean burger with cheese, a full slice of onion, Thousand Island, lettuce and tomato, $8.29–$10.29 — is regional: it is sold at San Antonio and Orlando but was not on the Wichita menu checked for this page. The Bowls category (steakburger, crispy chicken, grilled chicken and veggie burger builds over chopped romaine, $9.69–$9.99) is also market-dependent — Orlando sells no Bowls at all.

Fries, Sides & Fry Sauce

Freddy’s Fries are shoestring fries seasoned with Freddy’s Famous Steakburger & Fry Seasoning® — a Regular is $2.99–$3.49, and a Large is $3.49–$3.99. The loaded versions are Chili Cheese Fries ($4.99–$5.49) and Cheese Fries with jalapeño cheese sauce ($4.19–$4.49; not sold at Wichita). The rest of the side case: Cheese Curds — premium white cheddar, lightly breaded and fried, $5.19–$5.69 for a Regular and $7.99–$8.49 for a Large — Onion Rings ($3.29–$3.79), Tots ($2.99–$3.49), Freddy’s Kettle Chips ($2.99–$3.19) and Mott’s® Natural Applesauce ($2.19–$2.39), the cheapest item on the menu.

Freddy’s Famous Fry Sauce® is the chain’s signature dip, and it comes in three versions: the original, a Jalapeño version and a Smoky version. In Freddy’s own online ordering, sauce cups — fry sauces, ranch, BBQ, honey mustard, ketchup, mustard, mayonnaise, relish and marinara — are listed at no charge: they are free add-ons, not priced items, which is why the sauce rows in the menu on this page carry no price. The one exception is the warm Cheese Sauce cup, $0.75 at San Antonio and Orlando. All three fry sauces and the seasoning are also sold by the bottle to take home: 18 oz bottles of fry sauce and an 8.5 oz bottle of seasoning, $5.99 each.

Are Freddy’s fries or onion rings better? They are different formats at nearly the same price: the fries are thin shoestrings under Freddy’s seasoning (Regular $2.99–$3.49), the onion rings are battered and fried to a crisp (Regular $3.29–$3.79). The fries are the signature side and the default in combos.

Frozen Custard: Concretes, Sundaes & Shakes

Frozen custard is half the chain’s name and its signature product: vanilla, chocolate, or half & half custard, served as a dish or a cake cone, or built into the signature treats. Every signature treat is sold three ways — as a concrete, a sundae or a shake — in Mini, Regular and Large sizes, and the size ladders are uniform. At Wichita a signature concrete runs Mini $5.89 / Regular $6.69 / Large $7.69 and the same treat as a sundae runs Mini $5.19 / Regular $5.99 / Large $6.99. The prices in the menu on this page are the Regular size; the other sizes are in each item’s description.

The three formats are the same custard handled three ways. A concrete is custard blended with its mix-ins. A sundae is custard with the toppings served on top, not blended in. A shake is custard blended with milk until smooth — a Regular shake is $4.49 at Wichita, $5.79 at San Antonio and $6.49 at Orlando. The signature lineup:

  • Signature Turtle — vanilla custard, hot fudge, hot caramel and toasted pecans.
  • Dirt ‘n Worms — vanilla custard, OREO® cookies and gummy worms.
  • Peanut Butter Bananza — vanilla custard with Reese’s® Peanut Butter Cups and banana.
  • Chocolate Brownie Delight — chocolate custard, brownie and hot fudge.
  • OREO® Double Trouble — vanilla custard with a double portion of chopped Oreo cookies, whipped cream and more Oreos on top.
  • Reese’s® Royale — vanilla custard with Reese’s peanut butter sauce and cups, whipped cream and a cherry.

Create Your Own starts lower — at Wichita the concrete runs Mini $4.99 / Regular $5.79 / Large $6.79, the sundae Mini $4.49 / Regular $5.29 / Large $6.29 — with your choice of vanilla, chocolate or half & half custard and mix-ins. Plain custard by the scoop is the Dish or Cone with no toppings (Mini $3.69 / Regular $4.49 / Large $5.49 at Wichita and San Antonio; $4.39 / $5.19 / $6.19 at Orlando). The Chocolate Chip Custard Sandwich — vanilla custard between two chocolate chip cookies, rolled in chocolate chips — is $2.99 everywhere, or $9.99 for a 4-pack. A MUG® Root Beer Float (Regular $5.99–$6.59) and take-home Pints & Quarts (pint $5.79–$6.49, quart $8.19–$8.89) complete the counter.

Is Freddy’s custard the same as ice cream? No. Custard is the chain’s own product and half its name — Freddy’s sells frozen custard, made and served as custard in dishes, cones, concretes, sundaes and shakes, not soft-serve ice cream. The full custard menu is in the Frozen Custard section of the menu on this page.

Kids Meals

Freddy’s has a real kids’ menu: three combos, each served with a choice of side and a drink — the Kid’s Steakburger Combo (one patty with cheese, ketchup and pickles, 430 calories), the Kid’s Hot Dog Combo (420 calories) and the Kid’s Tender Combo (two tenders, 280 calories). All three are priced the same at each restaurant checked: $6.79–$7.99. Whether kids eat free is a different question, and it is answered in the Deals section below — it is a local promotion, not part of this menu.

No Breakfast at Freddy’s

Freddy’s does not serve breakfast. Freddy’s publishes no breakfast menu — no breakfast steakburgers, no breakfast quesadillas, no egg items — and its restaurants open at 10:30 AM, serving the regular steakburger and custard menu from the moment they open. Searches for a Freddy’s breakfast menu land on the lunch and dinner menu on this page, because that is the only menu the chain runs.

Specials & Seasonal Items

The current limited-time platform is Bacon Fest, September 2 – November 3, 2026, four items tagged Seasonal in the menu on this page: the Smoky Bacon Cheddar Stack (two patties, sharp cheddar, four slices of Applewood bacon and caramelized onions on a King’s Hawaiian bun with Smoky Fry Sauce; $10.09–$12.09, or $13.39–$15.59 as a combo), the Smoky Bacon Steakburger Taco ($4.49–$5.49), Bacon Loaded Tots ($5.19–$5.49; sold at San Antonio and Orlando, not Wichita) and the Maple Pecan Concrete, with crumbled bacon available as a mix-in. Four seasonal custard items run at the Texas and Florida restaurants in this sample — Strawberry Dreamcake, Cold Brew Caramel Crunch, Lemon Cream Frost and Orange Cream Frost — and are not on the Wichita menu.

Beyond the seasonal items, the standing value platform at one sampled restaurant deserves a plain statement: the Freddy’s Value category — a $3.49 line holding the Steakburger Taco, the All-Beef Hot Dog, a 2 Piece Chicken Tender and the Chocolate Chip Custard Sandwich, with the Chili Cheese Dog at $4.99 — exists only at San Antonio in the sample checked for this page. It is a local category, not a national value menu, and it is presented that way in the menu above. Daily and weekly specials at Freddy’s are set locally the same way — this page prints no national specials timetable, because the chain does not publish one.

Prices

Every price on this page comes from Freddy’s own online ordering system at three restaurants — Wichita, Kansas; San Antonio, Texas; and Orlando, Florida — checked in October 2026. Prices are shown as the lowest-to-highest range across the three, because Freddy’s sets prices per restaurant: Orlando runs about $2 above Wichita on sandwiches and combos and roughly $0.70 more on custard, while San Antonio tracks at or slightly below Wichita on most items (and well below it on the two hot dogs, which sit on its local Value menu).

Coverage is 101 of the 113 items in the menu. The 12 rows without a price are the sauce and seasoning cups in Sauces & Dressings, which Freddy’s own ordering lists at $0 — free add-ons, stated plainly in each row rather than left as a gap. The overall span is $2.19–$15.69, from the applesauce side to the Prime Rib Steakburger Combo. On the “is Freddy’s expensive” question the ranges answer it directly: a full combo with a side and a drink runs $8.79–$15.69 depending on the build and the city, a kids’ combo is $6.79–$7.99, and the custard counter starts at $2.99.

How much is a Freddy’s Original Double combo?$10.79–$12.99, depending on the restaurant. The burger on its own is $7.49–$9.49.
How much is a Freddy’s concrete?A Regular signature concrete is $6.59–$7.39 across the restaurants checked; Create Your Own starts at $5.69–$5.79 for a Regular. Mini and Large sizes sit below and above those figures on uniform ladders, set out in each item’s description in the menu above.

Nutrition & Calories

The calorie figures in the menu on this page are Freddy’s own: the per-product figures carried in Freddy’s ordering system, cross-checked against the chain’s official nutrition & allergens page at freddys.com/nutrition-and-allergens. That page is a structured nutrition guide — roughly 300 entries covering steakburgers by build and patty count, sides and drinks by size, custard by format and size including toppings, kids’ meals and limited-time items. Freddy’s publishes no nutrition PDF and no edition date for the guide, so the figures here are the chain’s published figures as of October 2026, not a dated edition.

Where Freddy’s two official sources disagree, the menu on this page follows the ordering system. Six conflicts were found and resolved that way — onion rings (440–880 here, against 380/770 on the nutrition page), the Triple Steakburger (980 here, against 910/990 by build on the page) and the Maple Pecan Concrete (the figure here is the page’s with-bacon variant) among them — and the notes behind this page record all six. Two conventions matter when reading the numbers: adult combo figures are the entrée’s official figure, with the side and drink adding more on top; and custard figures are ranges, because a treat’s calories run from its Mini concrete to its Large shake.

Calories in the Most-Asked Items

Item Calories
Freddy’s Original Double 670
Single Steakburger 510
California Style Double 750
Freddy’s Original Patty Melt 780
Triple Steakburger 980
Prime Rib Steakburger 1,000
Spicy Chicken Sandwich 570
Freddy’s Fries (Regular–Large) 400–520
Cheese Curds (Regular–Large) 520–1,110
Onion Rings (Regular–Large) 440–880
Kid’s Steakburger Combo 430
Signature Turtle (Mini–Large, all formats) 730–2,050
Dirt ‘n Worms (Mini–Large, all formats) 530–1,360

The custard counter is where the menu’s calories concentrate: a Large signature treat can pass 2,000 calories, while a Mini dish of plain custard is 330. On the grill side, the Grilled Chicken Bowl (420 calories) and the Kid’s Tender Combo (280) are the lightest full meals, and the fries-versus-tots choice is a wash — both run 400–520 for a Regular-to-Large. Freddy’s nutrition page carries the full breakdowns — protein, carbs, sodium and sugar by item and size — for anyone working to a specific target.

Allergens & Dietary

Freddy’s allergen position is stated plainly by the chain, and this page repeats it at the same scope: Freddy’s restaurants prepare products containing peanuts, tree nuts, wheat, soy, milk, egg, fish and sesame, and Freddy’s cannot guarantee that any product is allergen-free. The full allergen information lives on the same official nutrition & allergens page as the calorie figures; there is no separate allergen PDF.

Does Freddy’s have a gluten-free menu?No certified gluten-free menu exists. What Freddy’s publishes is a lettuce-wrap option for gluten-sensitive guests — and its own FAQ pairs that option with an explicit warning that shared surfaces mean cross-contact can occur. Wheat is present across the kitchen, so the wrap is a modification, not a gluten-free guarantee.
Are Freddy’s fries gluten-free?Freddy’s does not certify them. All fried items — fries, tots, onion rings, cheese curds — share one fryer oil, so cross-contact applies to every fried side. The fries themselves are cooked in highly refined soybean oil, which the FDA does not class as a major allergen.
Does Freddy’s have vegetarian options?Nothing at Freddy’s is certified vegetarian — the chain states this itself. The meatless builds on the menu are the Veggie Burger (a black bean burger, sold at San Antonio and Orlando but not Wichita) and the plain custard line; but steakburgers, grilled chicken, hot dogs and veggie burgers all share one grill, and all fried items share one oil, so even the meatless builds are cooked alongside meat.
What oil does Freddy’s cook its fries in?Highly refined soybean oil, shared across all fried items. The beef-tallow question comes up often for fry chains; Freddy’s published position is soybean oil, stated here, not tallow.

The fry sauce’s recipe is not published — Freddy’s sells the sauce by the cup and the bottle, and the allergen page is where its allergen information sits. Copycat recipes circulating online are not Freddy’s, and none is reproduced here.

Hours

Freddy’s hours were the most uniform of any chain in this series: all three restaurants checked — Wichita, San Antonio and Orlando — keep the same schedule: 10:30 AM to 10:00 PM Sunday through Thursday, and 10:30 AM to 11:00 PM on Friday and Saturday. The 10:30 AM opening is also why there is no breakfast service, answered above. Individual restaurants can vary, and mall, campus, airport and other hosted locations keep their venue’s hours, so a specific restaurant’s hours are confirmed on its official location page — but the standard standalone pattern is the one above.

Holiday hours follow the same per-restaurant pattern: most locations shorten hours or close on days such as Thanksgiving and Christmas, and the official store pages carry each restaurant’s holiday schedule. The dining room and drive-thru at a standalone restaurant keep the same hours.

Gift Cards

Freddy’s gift cards are sold on freddys.com (the gift-cards page runs through Buyatab) in physical and e-gift card form. The terms are short and favorable: Freddy’s gift cards do not expire. A card cannot be redeemed for cash except where the law requires it, cannot be used to buy other gift cards, and is not transferable for value; Freddy’s is not responsible for lost, stolen or damaged cards.

To check a balance, sign in to your Freddy’s account and go to Services → Profile → Payment Methods → Gift Card, and enter the card number and its 4-digit PIN — or contact Freddy’s directly. Freddy’s does not publish its gift card denominations as text on the site — amounts are chosen inside the purchase widget — so no denomination list is printed here. Gift card purchases do not earn Freddy’s Rewards points.

Deals, Coupons & Freddy’s Rewards

Freddy’s Rewards is the chain’s loyalty program, run through the Freddy’s app and freddys.com. The terms as Freddy’s publishes them: members earn 10 points per $1 spent, pre-tax; points expire one year after they are earned; points can be earned on up to 3 orders per calendar day; a missed transaction can be claimed from the receipt barcode within 72 hours; and points can take up to 24 hours to post. One reward can be used per transaction, promo codes cannot be combined with rewards, and some nontraditional locations — airports, sports venues, campuses — do not participate.

The birthday mechanic is a birthday surprise reward, added to the account of any member who provides a birthday at signup and usable within 30 days; if your birthday falls within 30 days of signing up, the reward arrives the following year instead. Senior demand is answered on the menu itself: Freddy’s sells a Senior Meals category — a senior cheeseburger meal, hot dog meal and crispy or grilled chicken sandwich meals, each with a small side and a small drink, $6.79–$8.69 — which is a priced menu, not a discount percentage. Freddy’s publishes no national senior, military or student discount percentage, and this page prints no coupon or promo codes: codes at this chain rotate through the app and expire, so any code printed here would be stale on arrival.

Does Freddy’s have a happy hour? No. Freddy’s publishes no national happy-hour program — there are no happy-hour terms or happy-hour menu to print, and any happy-hour claim from a third-party site is not Freddy’s published position.
Do kids eat free at Freddy’s?Not nationally. Kids Eat Free is not a Freddy’s national program. What exists is a local pattern: individual franchised restaurants run their own Family Nights — a free kids meal with an adult combo purchase on a set evening, the first Tuesday of the month, 5–8 PM in the published local examples — under terms each store sets itself. Check your own restaurant’s page before counting on it; the kids’ menu itself, which is national, is in the Kids Meals section above.
