Ordering Guide & Tips
Golden Corral is a per-person buffet: one price at the register covers every station — almost 150 items across the hot bars, the carving station, the salad bar, the bakery and the dessert bar. The first fact to know is the one most pages get wrong: Golden Corral does not publish its buffet prices online. There is no adult, lunch, dinner, breakfast, senior or kids price anywhere on goldencorral.com — each restaurant sets its own per-person price and posts it in store and in the Golden Corral app. What Golden Corral does publish is the full buffet menu, official calories for every item, and a short list of priced offers — including two limited-time to-go wing bundles at $25.00 each. All of it is on this page: the complete Golden Corral menu station by station, how the pricing structure works, the hours pattern, and every price Golden Corral actually puts in print.

How the Buffet Works
A buffet has no per-item menu, and that is the point: you pay once, per person, and every station is included — hot entrees, hot sides, soups, the salad bar, the bakery, desserts and the breakfast bar when it is running. A second trip to the bar costs nothing extra; the per-person price is the whole pricing model. The menu below is the station list Golden Corral itself publishes on its location pages, and it is the same core menu at every restaurant checked for this page (Tennessee, Texas, Florida, Colorado and North Carolina).
The buffet runs in dayparts, and the daypart decides both the price tier and what is open:
- Breakfast — a separate daypart with its own per-person price, served from opening on the days a restaurant runs it. Most locations serve breakfast Friday–Sunday only; select locations serve it daily. The full breakfast pattern is in the Hours section below.
- Lunch — runs until 4 PM Monday–Friday. The lunch-only feature is the Steakburger Bar: fire-grilled steakburgers on signature yeast rolls with build-your-own toppings.
- Dinner — the step-up daypart. From 4 PM Monday–Friday the Signature Sirloin Steaks come off the grill to order, and the carving station opens with carved turkey. Dinner carries a higher per-person price than lunch at the same restaurant — the step is the premium stations, priced in the Prices section below.
Golden Corral prints the same warning on every location page, and it is part of how the buffet works: menu items rotate often and vary by location, day of the week, time of day, holidays and availability. The Manager’s Choice items — a featured pork entree, the daily prepared salads, the daily featured cakes and pies — are deliberately different from restaurant to restaurant and day to day. The stations and signature items below are the standing menu; the rotation sits on top of it.
Golden Corral Prices: What Is and Isn’t Published
This is the section the searches are asking for, so the answer comes first and in full: Golden Corral publishes no per-person buffet price on its official website — not for adults, not for lunch, not for dinner, not for breakfast, not for seniors, not for kids, and not the per-pound rate for to-go. This was checked across the homepage, the FAQ, the promotions page, the order-online page, the gift card and group sales pages, and location pages in five states in October 2026. The price is set by each restaurant and shown in store and in the app. Any site printing a specific dollar figure as “the Golden Corral buffet price” is not quoting Golden Corral.
The price structure that does exist
Unpublished is not the same as unstructured. Golden Corral pricing follows a fixed structure everywhere — only the figures change by restaurant:
- Per person, by audience tier. Adults pay the standard tier. Kids are priced by age band, and seniors form their own tier where a restaurant offers one — the age bands and the tiers are posted at each restaurant, not online.
- Per daypart. Breakfast, lunch and dinner are three separate per-person prices. Lunch is the lowest of the lunch/dinner pair; dinner steps up when the sirloin grill and carving station open at 4 PM on weekdays.
- To-go runs on a different axis. Takeout buffet food is not priced per person at all — Weigh & Pay charges by the pound. The dine-in per-person price is never the to-go answer, and the per-pound rate is also set per restaurant.
- Groups are quoted, not listed. Group dining for 27 or more guests is priced on a single ticket through the official group reservation platform, with two complimentary meals (driver and guide) per group and a 72-hour advance reservation.
The prices Golden Corral does publish
The complete list of food prices on Golden Corral’s official site in October 2026 is short, and every one of them is printed in the menu on this page:
- 25 Traditional Bone-In Buffalo Wings to go — $25.00 (limited time, app and goldencorral.com only, not on third-party delivery apps).
- 50 Boneless Buffalo Bites to go — $25.00 (same terms). In the buffet itself, all-you-can-eat wings are featured at lunch and dinner for the same limited run.
- Military Appreciation Night — free. On Wednesday, November 11, 2026, from 4 PM until close, anyone who has served in the U.S. Military gets the buffet and a beverage free, dine-in. The full terms are in the Deals section below.
- Holiday Feast To Go — priced in the app per location; the published terms (72-hour ordering, pickup from November 2, $10 off app orders for Rewards members October 5 – November 1) are in the To Go section below.
Dinner: Hot Favorites & the Carving Station
Dinner is the fullest version of the buffet, and the menu on this page lists every standing item with its official calories. The anchors of the hot bar:
- Signature Sirloin Steak — USDA sirloin grilled to order, served every night; Monday–Friday it starts after 4 PM, and weekend hours vary by location. 130 calories per 3 oz.
- Fried Chicken — the buffet’s signature hot item, 340 calories per piece.
- Awesome Pot Roast — 150 calories per ½ cup, and one of the most-searched items on the menu.
- Bourbon Street Chicken — 170–180 calories per 3 oz (Golden Corral’s own database lists both figures; the range is printed rather than a picked number).
- Carved Bone-In Turkey — the carving station’s standing item: 110 calories per 3 oz for breast, 170 for white meat, 180 for dark meat.
- Golden Delicious Shrimp — 210 calories per 6 shrimp, a dinner-bar item.
Around them sit meatloaf (230 calories), baked fish (150), chicken pot pie (130), chicken & noodle dumplings (210 per cup) and the pizza station’s cheese (210) and pepperoni (250) slices — the pizza and taco-style stations are part of the standing buffet, not separate concepts. For a limited time the dinner and lunch bars also carry all-you-can-eat traditional Buffalo wings and Boneless Buffalo Bites (210–250 calories per 3 bone-in wings).

Lunch: Hot Favorites & the Steakburger Bar
The lunch buffet runs the same core hot bar as dinner — fried chicken, pot roast, Bourbon Street Chicken, meatloaf, baked fish, chicken pot pie, dumplings and pizza — at the lunch per-person price, Monday–Friday until 4 PM (Saturday hours are set by each location). Lunch’s own feature is the Steakburger Bar, Monday–Friday until 4 PM: fire-grilled steakburgers served on signature yeast rolls with a build-your-own topping line. What lunch does not have is the grilled-to-order sirloin and the carving station — that difference is exactly what the dinner step-up pays for.
Hot Sides, Salad Bar & Soups
The side bars carry the buffet’s depth: twenty hot sides including mashed potatoes & gravy (270 calories per ½ cup), macaroni & cheese (180), sweet corn pudding (340), scalloped potatoes (160), homestyle stuffing (110), a baked potato bar (160 per potato before toppings), and the Mexican station’s rice, refried beans and rotating taquitos or tamales.
The salad bar is a full station, not a garnish: build-your-own greens, vegetables, fruits, meats, cheeses and crackers, plus daily prepared salads on rotation — coleslaw (130–160 calories), broccoli salad (110), chicken salad (160), egg salad (200), Caesar salad (110) and a seafood salad among the Manager’s Choice features — and eight dressings from ranch (110 per 2 Tbsp) down to balsamic vinaigrette (20). The soup station holds six standing soups plus a rotating soup of the day: chicken noodle (80 per cup), broccoli & cheese (190), clam chowder (160), potato with bacon (200), homemade vegetable (110) and Timberline Chili (230).
Bakery, Rolls & Desserts
The bakery station is built around the Yeast Roll with Honey Butter — 170 calories per roll, the single most famous item on the buffet and the one item Golden Corral is named for after the fried chicken. Corn muffins (220), skillet cornbread (150) and garlic cheese biscuits (280) complete the bread line.
The dessert bar runs twenty items deep: carrot cake (290 per slice), pumpkin pie (300), fruit cobblers (170–200), banana pudding (240), bread pudding (270), cookies (60–70 each), fudge brownies — Golden Corral’s database lists a brownie at 320 and a fudgy brownie at 510, so the range is what prints — cotton candy (110), and the ice cream station: soft serve vanilla (110 per ½ cup) and chocolate (100–140), cones (20), hot fudge (90 per oz) and chocolate-dipped skewers of strawberries, marshmallows and Rice Krispies treats. A rotating set of sugar-free and no-sugar-added desserts stands on the same bar — sugar-free red gelatin at 5 calories, no-sugar-added chocolate pudding at 120, no-sugar-added blueberry pie at 280 and peach pie at 330 — and daily featured cakes and pies rotate as Manager’s Choice.
The Breakfast Buffet
Breakfast is a full separate buffet, not a trimmed morning bar. The hot line is anchored by the Omelet Station (260 calories per omelet) — made-to-order omelets with bacon bits, diced ham, sausage crumbles, green peppers, mushrooms, onions and shredded cheddar — plus made-to-order eggs (130 each), scrambled eggs (180 per ½ cup), bacon (80 per 2 slices), sausage links and patties, sausage gravy (80), grilled corned beef hash (250), carved ham (200), skillet hash browns (220), breakfast casserole (240), cheese grits (170) and oatmeal (120). The bakery and cold side carries homestyle pancakes (80 each), blueberry and chocolate chip pancakes, French toast (210), golden waffles (120), cinnamon rolls (160), buttermilk biscuits (230) with syrups including a sugar-free syrup (15 per 2 Tbsp), cereals, yogurts, donuts, fresh fruit and the breakfast juices.
Breakfast has its own per-person price, separate from lunch and dinner — and like every buffet price at Golden Corral, it is set by each restaurant and not published online. Whether breakfast runs at all is a location decision: most restaurants serve it Friday–Sunday only, and select locations serve it daily. The day-by-day pattern is in the Hours section below.
To Go: Weigh & Pay, Meals To Go & the Holiday Feast
Weigh & Pay is the buffet’s own takeout format: fill a to-go container at the bars and pay by the pound at the register. It prices on weight, not per person — a different axis from dine-in, and its per-pound rate is set by each restaurant and not published online.
Meals To Go are the plated route: entrees, sides, desserts and beverages ordered on goldencorral.com or in the Golden Corral app for pickup, with prices shown per location inside the ordering flow. The two wing bundles are the limited-time headliners — 25 bone-in Buffalo wings or 50 Boneless Buffalo Bites, $25.00 each, to go only through the app and website, and not available through third-party delivery apps.
The Holiday Feast To Go is Golden Corral’s official Thanksgiving product: a choice of Roasted Turkey, Glazed Ham or Bone-In Pork Roast with traditional sides, a dozen yeast rolls and a whole pie. Order 72 hours in advance; pickup starts November 2. Rewards members ordering in the app between October 5 and November 1 get $10 off. The feast’s price is set in the app and is not published on the website.
Drinks
The published drink list is in the menu on this page: the Coca-Cola fountain line (Coca-Cola, Diet Coke, Coke Zero Sugar, Sprite, Dr Pepper, Barq’s, Fanta Orange and Strawberry, Mello Yello, Hi-C and Minute Maid Lemonade), Gold Peak sweet and unsweetened teas, Fuze Raspberry Tea, Powerade, coffee and hot tea — plus the limited-time Green Apple Lemonade and Green Apple Citrus Splash, and the NASCAR 32 oz Big Cup upgrade, which carries entry for a chance to win a trip to the 2027 Daytona 500. Beverage prices are not published online — the Big Cup upgrade price included. Calories are published for every fountain drink and are in the menu data.
Nutrition & Calories
Buffet nutrition is per item, never per plate — Golden Corral publishes a calorie figure for each item at a stated serving size, and your total is whatever you build. The figures on this page come from Golden Corral’s official nutrition database at goldencorral.com/nutrition, the same database the site’s own search tool uses. Where the database itself lists two figures for one item, this page prints the range, as Golden Corral publishes it — Bourbon Street Chicken at 170–180 calories is one example. One item carries no figure at all: fried fish, which the official database lists at both 90 and 220 calories per piece — two irreconcilable numbers, so none is printed.
| Item (published serving) | Calories |
|---|---|
| Fried Chicken (1 piece) | 340 |
| Mashed Potatoes & Gravy (½ cup) | 270 |
| Omelet (1, from the Omelet Station) | 260 |
| Meatloaf (1 piece) | 230 |

The lightest building blocks on the buffet are the steamed vegetables and the salad bar: steamed broccoli at 25 calories per ½ cup, green beans at 35, fruit salad at 35 per ½ cup, chicken noodle soup at 80 per cup, and balsamic vinaigrette at 20 per 2 Tbsp against 110–150 for the creamy dressings. The kids’ menu figures are published too — a kids chicken drumstick is 190 calories, a kids chicken tender 170, and the kids breakfast plate 770.
Allergens & Dietary
Golden Corral’s official Allergen Statement, published on its nutrition page, sets the terms plainly: buffet offerings change frequently and use ingredients containing common food allergens — peanuts and other tree nuts, seafood including shellfish, whey, wheat/gluten, eggs, dairy, soy and sesame — and because of the handcrafted nature of the items, the variety of kitchen procedures, reliance on suppliers and the self-service nature of the buffet, the company cannot guarantee the accuracy of ingredient information and an ingredient can be transferred between food items. In plain terms: nothing at Golden Corral is certified allergen-free or certified gluten-free, and cross-contact at a self-serve bar is explicitly not excluded — shared serving utensils and shared stations are the buffet’s format. Anyone with an allergy is directed by Golden Corral to speak with a restaurant manager, and every item in the official nutrition database carries its own allergen line (“Contains Gluten, Milk, Soy, Wheat” and so on) for lookup before you go.
For dietary browsing, the same nutrition page files items under diet-friendly categories — Gluten-Free, Vegan, Vegetarian, Pescatarian, Low-Carb, Keto, Paleo and more — with Sugar Free and No Added Sugar filters, and the buffet itself backs that up: a full salad bar, steamed vegetables, baked fish, sugar-free syrup at breakfast and sugar-free desserts on the dessert bar. As of March 2025, Golden Corral sources only cage-free shell eggs for all locations.
Hours
Golden Corral has no single national schedule — each restaurant sets its own hours, and its location page on goldencorral.com is the source of truth. The pattern across the locations checked for this page (Tennessee, Texas, Florida, Colorado, North Carolina) is consistent:
- Weekday openings are late-morning at most locations — 10:30 AM (Waco, Aurora) or 11 AM (Raleigh) Monday–Thursday, with no breakfast on those days. Select high-traffic locations open earlier: Orlando’s International Drive restaurant opens 9 AM on weekdays and serves breakfast daily.
- Weekend-side openings bring breakfast with them — Friday–Sunday openings of 7:30 AM (Waco) or 8 AM (Aurora, Raleigh, Orlando weekends) are breakfast openings; the breakfast buffet runs from opening.
- Closings run 8:30 PM to 10 PM depending on location and day — 8:30 PM at Aurora on its earliest nights, 9 PM at Waco and Raleigh, 10 PM at Orlando.
- The daypart switches are fixed even where the hours are not: lunch ends and dinner begins at 4 PM Monday–Friday (sirloin and carving open; the Steakburger Bar closes), and weekend switch hours vary by location.
Holiday hours: Golden Corral does not publish Thanksgiving Day or Christmas Day dine-in hours on its website. Its official Thanksgiving offer is the Holiday Feast To Go (ordering and pickup terms in the To Go section above). For a specific holiday, the location page and the restaurant itself carry the hours.
Deals, Discounts & Specials (2026)
Golden Corral’s deals run through three official channels: the Good as Gold Club (its Rewards program), the promotions page on goldencorral.com, and one annual event. The standing facts, checked October 2026:
- Rewards: members earn 1 point per $1; 100 points = $10 off. Joining through the app carries a $5 off $25 join offer. Rewards expire after one year.
- America $2.50 Value Deals: a 2026 campaign for America’s 250th — exclusive monthly offers for Rewards members across breakfast, lunch, dinner, To Go, beverages and catering. The current month’s offer lives in the app; the website does not publish the item.
- Military Appreciation Night — Wednesday, November 11, 2026, 4 PM–close: a free buffet and beverage for anyone who has served in the U.S. Military — active duty, veterans, retirees, National Guard and Reserves. Dine-in only; no rain checks; the free meal cannot be taken to go; family members pay regular dinner pricing. 2026 is the event’s 26th year: more than 6.8 million free meals served since 2001 and over $21.5 million raised for DAV (Disabled American Veterans).
Three heavily searched offers need definitive answers, because outdated pages elsewhere keep them alive:
No birthday discount appears on the official promotions page, and this page prints no coupon codes — Golden Corral’s offers are account-based in the app and on the promotions page, and a printed code would be stale before it ranked. Check the app before you go; that is where the current month’s offer lives.
Gift Cards
Golden Corral gift cards are sold in exactly two places: at Golden Corral restaurants and online at goldencorral.com. Golden Corral states this itself, and adds that it does not offer — and is not responsible for — cards obtained through gift-card resellers or any other website, which closes the Sam’s Club and third-party question: those are not official channels. Cards come in denominations from $5 to $50, and per Golden Corral’s official FAQ they never expire. For a balance, bring the card to any restaurant or use the gift card channels on the official site — the card and its number are the reference.
Quick Answers
Looking for a specific store, its hours today or its posted prices? Locations live in the directory and in the locator on goldencorral.com — this page covers the national menu, not individual stores. Ordering for a group or an event beyond the buffet? Golden Corral sells catering through catering.goldencorral.com and group dining through its group reservation platform; both are priced by quote and are covered separately from this page.
Need this menu on paper? Print this page from your browser — it prints as the complete Golden Corral buffet menu. Golden Corral publishes no menu or nutrition PDF; its official nutrition document is the searchable database at goldencorral.com/nutrition, which is the source of every calorie figure here.
