Ordering Guide & Tips

Tatte Bakery & Cafe is a Boston-born bakery café chain founded in 2007 by Tzurit Or, now running 50+ cafés across Massachusetts, Washington DC, Maryland, Virginia, New Jersey and New York. The menu is seasonal, built on Israeli, Mediterranean and European influences: all-day breakfast, a Friday–Sunday brunch menu, signature shakshuka, tartines, sandwiches, salads, soups, plates and bowls, a full bakery case of morning pastries, brownies, cookies, cakes and desserts, and a coffee bar built around signature lattes. This page carries the complete menu — 16 categories and 203 items — with prices from Tatte’s own online ordering, read in full at the Bethesda, Maryland café and spot-checked at Copley Square in Boston and Dupont Circle in Washington DC in October 2026: 199 of the 203 items carry a price, and 173 carry a calorie figure from the chain’s ordering menu and its official Allergen & Nutritional Guide. The menu runs all day, open to close — breakfast, lunch and dinner plates sit on the same menu — and it changes with the seasons: the current fall features are the Tahini Pumpkin Oatmilk Latte, the Apple Pie Slice, the Honey Apple Cake Slice and the Gingerbread Tile, each tagged Seasonal in the structured menu.

Breakfast All Day — The Demand Center of the Menu

Breakfast at Tatte is an all-day menu. Breakfast sandwiches and plates, tartines, quiches and the signature shakshukas run all day at every café — there is no breakfast cutoff time and no separate breakfast-hours window. The Breakfast category carries 17 items, and it is the center of this menu.

The anchor plate is the House Breakfast Plate ($12.00–$12.50, 660 calories): two eggs your style, applewood-smoked bacon and potato fritters with tomato jam and mint parmesan, served with housemade sourdough. The egg-sandwich line runs from the Halloumi & Sunny-Side Breakfast Sandwich ($9.85, 520 calories) through the Sausage Breakfast Sandwich ($8.50, 810), the Breakfast Sandwich ($10.00, 870), the Croissant Breakfast Sandwich ($11.25, 720) and the Smoked Salmon, Avocado & Egg Sandwich ($12.50–$12.75, 770). The French pair is the Croque Monsieur ($12.25–$12.50, 700) and the Croque Madame ($13.50, 830) — the same build, with the Madame carrying the egg. Lamb Hash runs $15.00–$15.25 at 930 calories, and the two Egg in the Hole builds — fried eggs in a sesame Jerusalem bagel — are $12.50 (690 calories) and $14.00 with ham and cheese (870). The scrambled egg plates are Prosciutto & Parmesan ($10.75, 640) and Tomato & Goat Cheese ($10.75, 690).

The lighter end of the category is exact: Toast ($1.75, 330 calories) is the lightest breakfast listing, then Warm Oatmeal & Fruit ($7.75, 510), Bread & Butter ($6.00, 710) and the Muesli ($7.25, 670–980 calories, cup or bowl). The quiches on the all-day menu sit in Shakshuka, Plates & Flatbreads below. Every price and figure in this section is in the structured menu on this page, item by item.

Does Tatte take reservations? No. Tatte is walk-in only — all seating is first-come, first-served, per the chain’s official FAQ. There is no reservation system and no private-events program.
What is the best breakfast at Tatte? The signature breakfast dishes are the House Breakfast Plate (660 calories), the three shakshukas in their own section below, and the Halloumi & Sunny-Side Breakfast Sandwich (520). Those are the dishes the chain itself leads with; the full all-day roster is the 17-item Breakfast category in the structured menu.

Brunch — Friday, Saturday and Sunday Only

Brunch at Tatte runs on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays. The brunch menu is a special menu added on those three days — it is not a seventh-day menu and it is not served Monday through Thursday. Six items carry it, all priced and all with calorie figures.

The brunch builds are the sweet and savory plates the chain’s FAQ names: French Toast ($14.00, 1,330 calories) and Savory French Toast ($15.50, 1,200), Greek Style Pancakes ($13.50, 1,070), and the Meze Breakfast ($14.00, 980). Two brioche donuts open the brunch case: the Vanilla Sugar Donut ($4.50, 450 calories) and the Strawberry Jam Filled Donut ($4.50, 490). The all-day breakfast category above runs on brunch days as well — brunch adds these six dishes to the all-day menu; it does not replace it.

Shakshuka — The Signature, Served with Bread

Shakshuka is Tatte’s signature dish, and the menu carries three builds, every one served with bread. The calorie figures are stated with bread — that basis is part of the figure and is stated with the dish:

  • Traditional Shakshuka — $15.50, 1,010 calories with bread. Eggs poached in a tomato sauce with chili, bell peppers and onions, spiced with cumin and topped with feta and parsley, served with housemade challah.
  • Lamb Meatball & Labneh Shakshuka — $16.00, 1,230 calories with bread. Tomato and bell pepper sauce, eggs, lamb meatballs and peppadew peppers with spicy labneh, served with housemade challah.
  • Potato, Mushroom & Bacon Shakshuka — $17.00, 1,830 calories with bread. The heaviest single dish on the entire menu.

Those three are the complete shakshuka roster on the current menu — the corn, green, summer, white and mushroom variants that older menus and seasonal rotations carried are not on it now. Shakshuka sits on the all-day menu: it is a breakfast dish, a brunch dish and a lunch dish on the same menu.

Sandwiches & Tartines — The Lunch Core

The sandwich category carries 17 builds. The tartines are two, both on toasted housemade sourdough: the Avocado Tartine ($13.00, 670 calories) — avocado, baby arugula, dill and radish with poached eggs — and the Smoked Salmon and Avocado Tartine ($14.00, 740). Avocado toast questions resolve here: the Tatte dish is the Avocado Tartine.

The pita line is the Chicken Pita ($13.50, 500 calories), the Lamb Kebab Pita ($14.50, 710) and the Broccolini & Squash Hummus Pita ($13.00, 510). The café sandwiches are the BLAT ($13.00, 870) and the Turkey BLAT ($13.50, 840), Turkey Avocado ($13.00, 730), Chicken Salad Sandwich ($13.50, 860), Tuna Sandwich ($12.75, 870), Fresh Mozzarella Sandwich ($12.50, 940), Roasted Cauliflower Sandwich ($12.25, 520) and the Roasted Salmon Sandwich ($16.50, 1,010) — the priciest sandwich on the menu. The panini and grilled-cheese builds are the Prosciutto & Fig Panini ($13.50, 990), the Grilled Cheese ($11.50, 850) and the Short Rib Grilled Cheese ($13.50, 640). The kids’ sandwich on this menu is a named item in this same category: the Kids Sandwich ($6.00, 430 calories) — toasted challah with sliced cheddar. Tatte publishes no separate kids’ menu card; the kids’ item lives here, in Sandwiches & Tartines.

Salads & Soups

Six salads, with the official guide figures stated with roll and dressing: the Chicken, Baby Kale & Chickpea Salad ($15.00, 600 calories) is the lightest, then the Blueberry, Beet & Ricotta Salad ($15.00, 610), the Maple, Squash & Chicken Salad ($15.50, 640), the Fattoush Salad ($14.00, 1,010), Green & Nutty ($15.00, 1,020) and the Crunchy Halloumi Salad ($14.50, 1,130).

Three soups, each $6.50 at the cup, with the official figures stated with roll: Red Lentil Soup — cup 200 calories, bowl 230, the lowest-calorie hot dish on the menu; Chicken Vegetable Soup — cup 310, bowl 400; and Tomato Soup — 360 calories for the cup, the cup being the size the chain publishes a figure for. The cup and bowl figures are separate published figures, not a scaled estimate. A 16 oz grab & go container of the tomato soup sits in Grab & Go below.

Plates, Bowls & Flatbreads

The rest of the shakshuka category carries the lunch and dinner side of the all-day menu. The plates are the Chickpea & Fava Plate ($13.00, 700 calories) — hummus with warm caramelized onions, fava beans and dukkah — the Lamb Kebab Plate ($14.75, 1,000) and the Maple Aleppo Chicken ($14.75, 700). The bowls are the Fresh Corn & Avocado Farro Bowl ($14.50, 520), the Roasted Salmon Winter Vegetable Rice Bowl ($18.50, 950) and the Braised Short Rib & Eggplant Couscous Bowl ($20.50, 830) — at $20.50, the priciest single plate on the menu. The grain-bowl demand on this menu resolves to those three bowls. Two quiches, each served with salad, close the category: Leek, Potato & Spinach ($10.00, 900) and Ham & Cheddar ($10.00, 1,020), plus the Tomato & Mozzarella Flatbread Slice ($6.50, 660).

Bread & Grab & Go

The bread case sells the housemade loaves the menu is built on: Baguette ($5.00), Sourdough ($8.50), Multigrain ($7.00), Retail Ciabatta Loaf ($4.50), a Half Dozen Challah Rolls ($6.00) and the Individual Focaccia ($6.00). The loaves carry no calorie figure on this page: the chain’s guide publishes bread nutrition per slice, which does not map honestly onto a whole retail loaf, so the field stays blank rather than estimated.

The Grab & Go case carries 8 prepared items: the G&G Berries & Grapes ($6.00, 80 calories) — the lowest-calorie food item on the menu — the G&G Muesli Cup ($7.25, 710), tubs of Chicken Salad ($8.00, 400), Tuna Salad ($8.00, 530), Cashew Pepper Spread ($8.50, 500), Labneh ($8.00, 970) and Mediterranean Farro Salad ($7.00, 650), and the Tomato Basil Soup 16 oz ($9.00, 440).

The Bakery — Morning Pastries, Brownies & Cookies

The bakery is the platform the chain was founded on — in the chain’s own FAQ words, the pastries that made Tatte famous. Two categories carry the case: 19 morning pastries and 9 brownie and cookie listings.

Morning Pastries

The croissant line is five builds: Plain ($4.50, 350 calories), Chocolate ($5.25, 480), Ham & Cheese Croissant with Dijon Mustard ($6.50, 470), Pistachio ($5.25, 610) and Almond ($5.25, 660). The rest of the morning case is the Kouign-Amann ($5.00, 410), the Cheese Boureka ($5.00, 470), the Jerusalem Bagel ($4.00, 440) — the bagel on the roster — Monkey Bread ($4.00, 480), the Morning Bun ($4.50, 460), the Sour Cherry Cheese Danish ($4.75, 510), the Cherry Almond Scone ($4.50, 500), the Apple Turnover ($4.50), two roses — Chocolate Rose ($4.75, 585) and Cinnamon & Pecan Rose ($4.75, 670), the heaviest morning pastry on the menu — and two muffins and two tea cakes: Blueberry Olive Oil Muffin ($4.00, 380), Dark Chocolate Muffin ($4.00, 470), Halva Sesame Tea Cake ($3.50, 260) and Raspberry Tea Cake ($3.50, 230). The two tea cakes and the dark chocolate muffin are made without gluten ingredients — see Allergens below.

Brownies & Cookies

The brownies are two, both flourless and made without gluten ingredients: Plain Brownie ($5.00, 590 calories) and Walnut Brownie ($5.00, 690). The cookie case runs from the two small signature butter cookies at $0.90 — the Nutella Cookie (80 calories) and the Cranberry Pistachio Cookie (80), the lowest price on the entire menu — through the Linzer Cookie ($3.50, 250), the Chocolate Sandwich Cookie ($3.00, 440), the Halva Chocolate Chunk Cookie ($4.00, 390) and the Oatmeal & Walnut Cookie ($4.00, 500), made with gluten-free flour, to the seasonal Gingerbread Tile ($6.00, 110). Cookie tubes and boxes for taking home sit in Retail below.

Cakes & Desserts — the Dessert Menu

The dessert menu is this category: 23 items. The cake slices lead: Apple Pie Slice ($7.50, 530 calories, Seasonal), Honey Apple Cake Slice ($7.50, 510, Seasonal), Maple Pecan Pie Slice ($7.50, 710), Honey Carrot Cake Slice ($6.75, 710), Lemon Poppyseed Loaf Cake Slice ($5.50, 900) and Cinnamon & Walnut Coffeecake Slice ($5.50, 900). Three cheesecake cups — Strawberry & Raspberry ($7.50, 350), Blue & Blackberry ($7.50, 340) and Crumbs ($7.00, 370) — the Tiramisu ($7.50, 350), two mousse builds — Coffee Caramel Mousse ($7.75, 530) and the Dark Chocolate Mousse Cake ($8.00, 540), both made without gluten ingredients — two krembos — Passionfruit ($7.50, 330) and Vanilla Lime ($7.50, 270) — the Lemon Blueberry Pavlova ($7.50, 330), the Pineapple Passionfruit Matcha Bombe ($7.75, 400), the Raspberry Yogurt Meringue Cloud ($2.00, 70) — the lowest-calorie dessert on the menu — and the tarts and boxes: Pistachio Cherry Tart ($7.50, 560), Pear Tart ($7.50, 890), Lemon Mint Tart ($8.00, 480), Petit Mixed Nut Box ($7.50, 870), Mixed Nut Tart Slice ($6.75, 1,040) and Mixed Berry Fruit Box ($7.50, 430).

Whole cakes, pies and tarts are a separate special-order line: special orders — cakes, tarts and gift boxes — are placed for local pickup with 48 hours’ notice, per the chain’s FAQ, which is how the birthday-cake and wedding-cake questions on this menu resolve. Tatte does not ship products.

Coffee, Tea & Drinks

Tatte runs a full coffee bar across five categories — drip coffee, espresso, tea lattes, hot and iced teas, and juices and sparkling drinks — 59 items in all. The chain’s FAQ names its signature lattes exactly: the Honey Halva Latte, the Pistachio Latte and the Black Sesame Latte. The honey-halva is the house latte: $6.00, 270 calories hot and 190 iced. The Pistachio Latte is $6.35 (390 calories hot, 350 iced). The current fall feature is the Tahini Pumpkin Oatmilk Latte ($6.35, hot 12 oz and iced 16 oz), tagged Seasonal; the ordering menu prints no calorie figure for it, but the chain’s official nutrition guide publishes 260 calories for both the hot 12 oz and the iced 16 oz, and that is the figure its rows carry.

The espresso base is the Latte ($5.35, 190–230 calories across the 12 oz and 16 oz sizes), the Cappuccino ($5.35, 110), the Flat White ($5.35, 110), the Cortado ($4.65, 80), the Macchiato ($4.25, 80), the Americano ($4.25, 0), the Double Espresso ($4.10, 0) and the Mocha ($5.85, 360–450); iced, the Iced Latte ($5.35, 130–190), Iced Americano ($4.25, 0) and Iced Mocha ($5.85, 280–370). The drip case is the Coffee ($3.85) — Tatte’s own T1 Drip Blend — the Cafe au Lait ($4.25, 80), Cold Brew ($4.75), the Red Eye ($4.25) and Iced Red Eye ($5.75), and the Box of Coffee ($32.00) — 96 oz with cups, lids and milk, serving 8–10; at $32.00 it is the highest price on the menu, and it is a group format, not a single plate.

Four signature drinks are listed in the chain’s official nutrition guide but were not on the Bethesda ordering menu when it was read, so they carry a calorie figure and no price: the Black Sesame Latte (410 calories), the Ginger, Date & Oatmilk Latte (260), the Lemon, Thyme & Espresso Soda (150) and the Orange, Coriander & Matcha Spritz (170). Café menus vary slightly, and those four sit in the structured menu flagged exactly that way.

The tea platform is Mem Tea: the Matcha Latte ($5.00, 190–230 calories) — Mem Tea premium-grade matcha — the Chai Latte ($5.00, 150–170), the London Fog ($3.85, 120–150), their iced versions, the Hot Chocolate ($5.25, 470–560), eight hot teas at $3.00 (Earl Grey, English Breakfast, Golden Green, Moroccan Mint, Chamomile, Blood Orange Hibiscus, Apple Berry and Golden Buds), three iced teas at $3.85 and three fruit coolers at $5.85 (90–110 calories). The juice and sparkling case closes the bar: the Preserved Fig Lemon Mint Soda ($5.85, 160), the Sparkling Matcha Lemonade ($5.85, 80), San Pellegrino sparkling water and sodas ($3.00–$3.25), bottled water ($2.75) and four cold-pressed 12 oz juices at $6.00 — Orange (360 calories), Pear (170), Mint Lemonade (130) and Kale & Apple (120).

Retail — Beans, Tea Boxes & Cookie Tubes

The retail shelf is part of the structured menu: the chain’s own coffee — Tatte No. 4 Espresso Blend and T1 Drip Blend, 12 oz whole-bean bags at $17.50 — Mem Tea Premium Matcha Powder ($18.00), seven Mem Tea retail boxes at $14.50, the housemade Granola 14 oz ($12.50), and the signature cookie tubes and boxes ($6.00–$15.00) — the Plain Butter, Nutella and Cranberry Pistachio cookies in take-home formats. Branded merchandise (cups, totes, apparel) is sold in the cafés but is not part of the food menu and is not listed here.

Prices — From Tatte’s Own Ordering, Checked at Three Cafés

The prices on this page are Tatte’s own online-ordering prices. They were read in full from the chain’s first-party ordering menu for the Bethesda, Maryland café (7276 Wisconsin Ave) in October 2026 and spot-checked against the ordering menus for Copley Square in Boston and Dupont Circle in Washington DC. The model is stated plainly because the chain itself cautions — in its official summary, verbatim — that “Menu availability, prices and hours vary by café. Check the individual location page rather than quoting one figure for the whole brand.” That caution is honored here in the way the figures are published: the pastry case and most of the menu are priced identically at all three cafés checked, and the four plates that do vary carry their captured range instead of a single figure — the House Breakfast Plate ($12.00–$12.50), the Smoked Salmon, Avocado & Egg Sandwich ($12.50–$12.75), the Croque Monsieur ($12.25–$12.50) and the Lamb Hash ($15.00–$15.25). Small per-café variance beyond those four is possible; no figure on this page comes from an aggregator or a delivery platform.

The span of the menu is $0.90 to $32.00: the floor is a single signature butter cookie — the Nutella Cookie or the Cranberry Pistachio Cookie at $0.90 — and the ceiling is the 96 oz Box of Coffee at $32.00, a group format serving 8–10. The priciest single plate is the Braised Short Rib & Eggplant Couscous Bowl at $20.50. On the is-it-expensive question, the chain’s own location data is the published answer: its cafés are listed at the inexpensive-to-moderate level, and the figures above are the substance of that answer — breakfast plates and sandwiches run $8.50–$15.25, sandwiches and tartines $11.50–$16.50, salads $14.00–$15.50, pastries $3.50–$6.50 and coffee $3.85–$6.35. Four items carry no price at all — the Black Sesame Latte, the Ginger, Date & Oatmilk Latte, the Lemon, Thyme & Espresso Soda and the Orange, Coriander & Matcha Spritz are in the chain’s nutrition guide but were not on the captured ordering menu; their price fields stay blank rather than borrowed from another café or platform.

Nutrition & Calories

Calorie figures on this page come from two official sources, in a stated order. Where the chain’s ordering menu prints a calorie figure, that figure governs — it is the figure attached to the item as sold. Where the ordering menu prints none, the figure is taken from the chain’s official Allergen & Nutritional Information Guide — the current edition is the Fall 2026 edition, updated 09.16.26, and it is the guide of record for every gap-filled figure on this page. 173 of the 203 items carry a figure. The guide’s bases are stated once, here: figures are per serving as served; shakshuka figures are with bread; salad figures are with roll and dressing; soup figures are with roll. Where the ordering menu and the guide disagree, the ordering figure is the one printed — the plain croissant is 350 calories on the ordering menu against 390 in the guide, and the Potato, Mushroom & Bacon Shakshuka is 1,830 against the guide’s 1,850 — and the item’s own row in the structured menu is the answer to every per-item calorie question.

Chicken Pita 500
Greek Style Pancakes (Brunch) 1,070
Lamb Meatball & Labneh Shakshuka (with bread) 1,230
French Toast (Brunch) 1,330
Potato, Mushroom & Bacon Shakshuka (with bread) 1,830

The healthy-picks answer on this menu is a calorie answer, and it is exact: the lowest-calorie full dishes are the Red Lentil Soup cup at 200 and bowl at 230, the Chicken Pita at 500, the Warm Oatmeal & Fruit and the Broccolini & Squash Hummus Pita at 510 each, and the Halloumi & Sunny-Side Breakfast Sandwich, the Roasted Cauliflower Sandwich and the Fresh Corn & Avocado Farro Bowl at 520 each.

The blanks in the data are printed as blanks, each with its reason. The six bread loaves carry no figure because the guide publishes bread nutrition per slice. The retail bags and boxes carry none. A handful of bottled drinks and teas — the Apple Turnover, the San Pellegrino drinks, the Apple Berry and Golden Buds teas — carry none because no official figure is published for them in the sources above. No figure from any other source fills a gap on this page.

Allergens, Ingredients & Dietary

The allergen platform for this menu is the chain’s official guide, Fall 2026 edition. Every dish’s common allergens are listed on the menu itself. The kitchens handle tree nuts, seeds, sesame, wheat, dairy, eggs and soy, and cross-contact cannot be guaranteed — that is the chain’s stated position, printed unsoftened. Two absences are the chain’s own published position: Tatte does not use peanuts or shellfish. Ingredient questions for a specific dish resolve to that dish’s allergen row in the official guide; this page prints no recipes and no copycat formulas.

Gluten-Friendly — the Chain’s Exact Term

Tatte’s term is “gluten-friendly,” not “gluten-free.” Gluten is used in the bakeries, and the chain does not guarantee against cross-contact. Many dishes offer a gluten-free version — most breakfast plates and sandwiches, the shakshukas and several salads — or are made with No Gluten-Containing Ingredients (NGI): the two flourless brownies, the Oatmeal & Walnut Cookie, the Dark Chocolate Muffin, both tea cakes, the Coffee Caramel Mousse, the Dark Chocolate Mousse Cake, the Lemon Blueberry Pavlova, both krembos and the Raspberry Yogurt Meringue Cloud, each flagged (GF) in the structured menu. Gluten-free-menu questions resolve to this paragraph: the programme is gluten-friendly, NGI-based, and stated at exactly that level.

Vegetarian, Vegan and Kosher

The menu carries plentiful vegetarian options, and many dishes adapt to vegan builds — that is the chain’s FAQ position, stated at that level. The kosher position is equally exact: the kitchens are not certified kosher. No dish on this page carries a kosher certification claim.

Hours — The Pattern, Per-Café in the Directory

Tatte’s hours vary by café — the same chain guidance that governs prices governs hours — and the pattern on the chain’s own location pages is this: most cafés run Monday–Saturday 7 AM–8 PM and Sunday 7:30 or 8 AM–7 PM. Downtown and office-district cafés run shorter: 6 PM weekday closes, a few cafés are weekday-only, and some keep reduced weekend hours. Print the pattern as a pattern: it is the dominant schedule, not a chain timetable, and no single café’s hours are presented here as the brand’s. Sunday hours and holiday hours are per-café for the same reason. For a specific café’s hours today, its open-now status, or its holiday schedule, use that café’s listing in the directory, bridged at the end of this page. The daypart facts that are chain-wide are on this page: breakfast is all day, and brunch is Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

Gift Cards

Tatte gift cards are sold two ways, per the chain’s official FAQ and gift-cards page. Physical gift cards are sold at any café. Digital gift cards are sold online and are delivered by text or email at the day and time the sender chooses. Cards spend at any café and on online takeout orders. Cards do not pay for delivery orders — those orders pay through the delivery platform, not the café.

Three gift-card facts are not published in the chain’s official text, and this page states them at exactly that level: denominations are not published, expiry and fee terms are not published, and no balance-check route is published. The gift-cards page presents its storefront as a script-driven shop, and no denomination, expiry term or balance route is stated in the chain’s published text — so no figure, term or route is printed here, and the balance question is answered at that level.

Deals, Rewards & the App — There Is No Program

Tatte has no loyalty or rewards program, and no app of its own. No programme, points system or birthday reward is published anywhere on tattebakery.com — the homepage, the FAQ, the chain’s official summary and the site map were all checked in October 2026, and none publishes one. There is nothing to join, no points to earn and no Tatte app to download; ordering runs on the website — pickup through the chain’s ordering channel, delivery through DoorDash and Uber Eats — and payment questions resolve to those channels. No standing coupon, promo-code or discount programme — student, military, senior or otherwise — is published by the chain either, and no third-party codes are printed on this page. The answer is stated definitively because the check is complete.

The Tatte Story — Name, Founder & Café Count

“Tatte” rhymes with “latte.” The name is a family nickname — founder Tzurit Or’s toddler daughter’s word for her grandmother — and the chain is Boston-born: Tzurit Or, a self-taught pastry chef, founded Tatte in 2007 and opened the first café in Brookline in May 2008, after starting out selling at the Copley Square farmers market. The menu identity is the one stated at the top of this page: Israeli, Mediterranean and European influences, on a seasonal menu. The café count is the chain’s own published figure: 50+ cafés — its site map lists 54 location pages across Greater Boston (Boston, Cambridge and Brookline), the Washington DC metro, Northern New Jersey, and New York City and Long Island. Questions about how many cafés sit in one city resolve to the directory; the count that is chain-published is 50+, and it is the figure printed here.

Looking for a specific café, its hours today, or its own menu and prices? Locations live in the JanesRestaurant directory — this page covers the chain’s menu, not individual stores. Catering is a separate channel with its own route: Boston and DC areas only, for groups of 10 or more, with a $100 minimum and 24 hours’ notice, packed in bags and boxes for pickup or delivery with no setup or staffing, at [email protected]; Tatte does not host private events. Ordering runs in-café or online for pickup; delivery runs through DoorDash and Uber Eats, and Tatte does not ship products. Special orders — cakes, tarts and gift boxes — are placed for local pickup with 48 hours’ notice.

Menu verified — October 2026. Prices are from Tatte’s own online ordering (Toast), read in full at the Bethesda, MD café and spot-checked at Copley Square, Boston and Dupont Circle, Washington DC; four plates that vary by café carry ranges, and the chain’s own caution stands: “Menu availability, prices and hours vary by café.” Calories are the ordering-menu figures where printed, gap-filled from the chain’s official Allergen & Nutritional Information Guide, Fall 2026 edition (updated 09.16.26): 173 of 203 items carry a figure, and every blank is a documented absence, not an estimate. Brunch is Friday–Sunday; seating is walk-in only; hours vary by café.

Prices vary by location and may change at any time. This menu was last verified: October 2026.
