The Swan Street Diner is a fully restored 1937 diner serving breakfast and lunch in Larkinville, Buffalo, NY. It is an example of one of the early Sterling Company diner cars made by the J.B. Judkins Company of Merrimac, Mass. The diner was originally operated as the Newark Diner in Newark, NY, and has had three previous owners before being purchased by the Larkin Development Group in 2013. The diner features mahogany trim, a barrel-vaulted ceiling, and walls and ceiling made of porcelain enamel. It was transported to Akron, Ohio, and then back to Buffalo for a full restoration, where the interior enamel panels, bar stools, and wood trim were preserved. The booths were newly fabricated in the former footprint of the Newark Diner booths, and the counter was rebuilt according to the original glass top design. The Swan Street Diner offers a range of menu items, including breakfast and lunch options, and has a private event space available for rent. It is located in the heart of Larkinville, near the Larkin Square Grill, Bratt's Hill Restaurant, and the Hydraulic Hearth Restaurant & Brewery.
